Spring Lane Boy's Room

It was so much fun designing this room because I have a little boy the same age as my client's son. We wanted this space to be all about fun and personality. The whole concept started with this cool rug we found. I've gotten lots of e-mails about this rug, and I hate to say it but I think you'll have a hard time tracking it down.
The rug is made by Safavieh, but we purchased it through Overstock and
I don't think it has been in stock since June. The colors in it are so amazing.
Yes that crooked "L" is driving me crazy

  1. The L. When I went into this room, the little boy was in there playing with it. So, I straightened it out. But it kept shifting crooked. It was driving me crazy so I had to just walk away!

  7. Fantastic. Love it and the choice of colours is stunning. Nice to see something different in a boy's room than the usual red, white and blue. That rug is amazing, and how you've pulled it all together. Great inspiration.

  11. I love the kitchen on the Tiek Built Homes site. However, I cannot stop but wonder what is on the other side of the fridge. Is there any cabinetry on the right side of it?

  13. Thank you for such an inspired rug for a boy's room! We are in the process of designing the nursery for our first - a boy - and this rug created such a great starting point. I ordered it from Amazon last week despite it being out of stock and lo and behold it's shipped!!! Hope others can find it there too. :)
