Gorgeous Fretwork Chairs for Sale

Sometimes the perfect thing, turns out not to be the perfect thing for your space.

I recently ordered a pair of these gorgeous chairs for a client and they aren't going to work.

They are the same ones that Windsor Smith used in the gorgeous kitchen pictured above.

Home for sale!

One of my friends is selling her gorgeous Cottonwood Heights home and moving to London.

Making room for baby and a big sale

Although I've still got about 6 weeks left in this pregnancy, I literally feel like there is no room left for baby

in my belly, or my ribcage. Similarly, I looked around the house today and thought

I needed to make way for blankets and bassinets so I'm having a sale.

My garage is overflowing and I have lots of extras from other projects that need good homes.

I was going to list everything at once as a big event, but I thought, why wait for a good thing.

All items with the exception of vintage pieces are new and unused.

Beautiful Harvard Yale Home for sale

I recently helped stage a gorgeous home and get it ready to sell. This house was already beautiful the second I stepped in the door but we just worked a bit on the finishing touches.
I rarely find homes that are done in a way that I would not want to change a thing but this house is so beautiful, it just might fit the criteria. You can go here to tour the full home.

nesting dolls and a funny story

When were dating my husband went to Europe with his friends for a few weeks. I was left home to wait for his calls, and it was torture. I made him promise to bring me back really good gifts. 

While I was envisioning a something unique and beautiful, he was envisioning something else. He brought me home a Manchester United soccer jacket and a set of matroshkya dolls painted like snow white and the seven dwarves. Now that I write this I kind of, sort of can't believe I married him. I think I about died of laughter and disappointment when I opened those up. 

I do however love nesting dolls, so I when I found these, I was a little excited. I can imagine all the lovely ways these could be used. I think I'll order a set to store all my office goodies in. 

Oh and by the way my husband has gotten to be a better gift giver since then. 5 years of marriage and an opinionated wife will do that to you! 

I still have those Snow white dolls in storage. Any takers? They're just too ugly to have sentimental value for me! 

Splish Splash

If I was in the market for a new shower curtain I would snatch this one (one sale right now for $59.00 through ruelala) up in a second.

Oh the possibilities.

In my parent's home they have a beautiful glass table with steel sawhorse legs. The home is a very rustic craftsman style with a lot of natural elements and this dining table has always been the singular modern element in the home. Someday I'll have to post pictures. 

Anyway...When I saw these saw horse legs I was instantly reminded of that dining table. And when I saw the price I just died. Can you imagine all the wonderful ways you could top these? 

Since I have a little one I think I would go with a hardwood in chalkboard paint like the one pictured below from ohdeedoh.

Another object of my affection is chinese chippendale faux bamboo chairs. I just spotted this dining set in the classifieds and I am tempted to snatch these up, ditch the table, and make them over. I am seriously contemplating since the price is still way below what these chairs retail for these days if you were to buy them new.
