a cozy cabin

I've had every intention of blogging but the last couple of weeks just got away from me.
We had a little vacation to California, Little Elliott turned one, and then there was lots of work.

To win you back I thought I would share a few images from a project I completed in September.
This particular space was a Hunting Lodge in the Utah mountains on the most amazing piece of property. The trick with this project is that the entire 8,000 square feet had to be furnished in time for hunting season since the property is primarily used for corporate hunting retreats. You can bet there were a handful of late nights and lots of coke consumed during this project.
Still I couldn't complain when this was the view I saw on each trip up there:

The inspiration for the space was loosely based off of Ralph Lauren's ranch in Telluride Colorado. His place is so amazing his wife Ricky published an entire book on it.

I actually loved working on a cabin project because it is a total departure from the type of spaces I usually do.
Here are a few details from the completed project:

I still can't believe we got it all furnished and pulled together in such a short time.

Hopefully I'll be back next week with a few other spaces to share.

I've been holding out on you

Dear blog friends and readers,
I owe you an apology, you've probably been really bored with my blog lately. Truth is I've been so busy working with clients I've had little left for you. But have no fear. I've just finished up a few lovely rooms that will be debuting soon for your viewing pleasure.

And in the meantime, I forgot to tell you that a few weeks ago I took a little field trip up the gorgeous Barclay Butera showroom in Park City. I was smitten.
These folks do rustic right, with a little bit of glamour and gorgeous fabrics.

I could have bought the whole store in one swoop (or swipe) if my bank account and my husband would have allowed. Just lovely.

Enjoy my friends.
