I'm a reasonable person. I can totally acknowledge that I have an addiction to chairs. But please tell me, what are you supposed to do when a chair you've been dreaming about for months goes on some sort of crazy sale?
I was doing some Internet wandering yesterday when I happened to notice a sidebar link for Sears. I quickly remembered this lovely needlepoint zebra chair that I had discovered a few months back and I went to visit it. I've been hoping to work one of these in to my own house somewhere but the price had been a little deterrent.
Well you can imagine that my jaw just dropped when I looked at the new price, $40.
I was convinced it must be sort of some mistake, so I didn't waste any time adding a pair to my shopping cart and checking out. While the cost of shipping these ended up being about $100 per chair, I still ended up with the chair I've been dreaming about for about $150 compared to the price of $617 that it is selling for elsewhere. These chairs remind me a lot of this beautiful Sophie Zebra Chair by Oly Studio which retail for about $1900.
Now if you ask me that is a crazy deal! I can't wait for my new chairs to arrive and I'll be sure to share pictures with all of you.
