Sarah's room

You all flipped so much over Sarah's yellow room I thought it would be
fun to source some items so the look could be re-created.
Here's my list of must have items for Sarah Richardson's yellow bedroom:

Foot stool (these could be recovered with the scrumptious ikat)

Yellow fabric for headboard If you contact your local upholstery shop they can cut a piece of wood for you to you specifications and then you could upholster it yourself, or if you are handy with a skill saw and don't mind getting your hands dirty, you can tackle this at home.

Yellow picture frames (paint your own or buy some yellow ones here)

To capture the look of industrial end tables I'd use this interesting iron option

Sarah used a beautiful Alan Campbell fabric, deauville but I think I'd opt for Zimba in orange

These lamps are eerily similar to Sarah's choice

Sarah's room included an abstract yellow painting, I love this option
You can view the other details and spaces of Sarah's yellow room here

Just to finish things off I'll throw in these lovely waving stripes curtains

And of course, that yellow dress

hello yellow

Leave it to Sarah Richardson to make me completely rethink my master bedroom revamp.

I am loving this gorgeous use of yellow. And those ikat ottomans? Ahhhh, don't even get me started.
She really outdid herself this time, and I love the modern flair.

Check out her work on the Toronto Designer Show House over at Chic Coles.

I spy

Look at this pretty room by Sarah Richardson from my favorite show, Sarah's House.

I spy a little bit of chiang mai dragon on the ottomans.

I just ordered that color for a client and I am so obsessed with the pretty blues.

Have I mentioned I am a blue girl through and through?
