Back from Hawaii

Hello all, I'm back from Hawaii. Hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I spent mine on beach with my family. I had planned on blogging while I was away but once I got there I just couldn't bear to open my computer. I think I needed some r & r. The picture above is a view from our beach. We stayed on Oahu in the Marriott at Ko Olina. My family has stayed there before but lots had changed since the last time we visited, like the new Disney hotel Aulani that just opened next door. It was amazing and worth a post all of it's own.
My little Winston loved digging in the sand and playing on the beach. We spent most of our time doing that, but we did make some visits to Pearl Harbor, the North Shore, and Honolulu.

Here we are heading to the beach and taking half of our hotel room with us on the stroller.
My Husband Dan with our little guy, Elliott. Dan doesn't make many appearances here on the blog but he should be considered VP of Caitlin Creer Interiors. Whenever people ask me how I run my business with two small kids, my immediate answer is always that I have a really supportive husband who makes a lot of what I do possible.
And now we are back and I'm facing a mountain full of Laundry. Ick.

I'll be announcing the winner of the Lewis & Sheron giveaway tomorrow. Stay tuned.

It's been too long

So I'm back.

I just had a wonderful weekend celebrating my anniversary with my sweet husband who surprised me with a fun date night and sleepover at The Hotel Monaco. We hadn't been on a date in a while and it was so fun to have some time with just the two of us. Our Anniversary is 11/11 which means we share it with a handful of newlyweds that just tied the knot on Friday.
It was so fun to see a few brides and grooms checking into the hotel at the same time we were.

As if that weren't fun enough, this Friday we are headed to Hawaii on vacation with my family
for Thanksgiving. I cannot tell you what a dream that sounds like with the busy work week
ahead of me so I'm definitely counting the minutes until we board the plane.
I cannot wait to sink my toes in the sand with my little boys and just soak in the sunshine.

Any of you have any recommendations of things to do on Oahu?

Round Top Texas here I come

Baby Elliott and I are boarding a plane today to visit one of my dearest friends and a scour one of the biggest antique markets in the country for some fabulous finds. We're headed down to Houston for the Round Top antique market.

Excitement doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. Antique markets are one of my favorite things and visiting Round Top is one of the goals on my life list. I'm hoping to come back with lots of amazing finds to share with all of you.

Have any of you ever been to Round Top? Houston? Any advice or must see stops?

This darling Texas print is from delovelyArts, a new to me etsy shop with some fun affordable prints.

I heart NY

I'm headed to NY tonight for a long trip. A little bit of work, a lot of play, and hopefully lots and lots of visiting with friends. It is my first time going back since we moved in December and I am so excited to hop on the plane, but a little worried I will come home sad because I will remember how much I miss NYC.

My list of things to do in NY has been growing exponentially, but it includes:

The Shake Shack
Takashimaya
Long Walks in Central Park
Visiting John Derian' Shop {pictured above as seen on M.A. Belle}
Sweetie Pie {maybe to eat but maybe just to see the decor}
The Garage Flea Market
Snagging some accesories at the Jonathan Adler store
Hunting for some thrifty finds for a new project I am working on in Connecticut
Highline Park
Calypso Home
Nancy Koltes Home
Topshop
ABC Carpet and Home

The list could go on and on...But I am most excited about John Derian.

Look at these beautiful images from his website. Swoon.
