Thanks to everyone who came to the sale. It was a great event and it felt so good to unload all that stuff. I saved some of the best items to list here on the blog so check back this week for a few wonderful items for sale. But now to the real treat.
I'd like to say that I spent the last few months laying low and snuggling my baby, but that is not entirely true. Part of the reason I haven't been blogging much lately is that I have been extremely busy with work projects, one of which I'd like to share with you today.
I'm currently working on a newly renovated house that I wish I was moving into myself. This renovation is impeccable all thanks to Tiek Built Homes. They are a dream to work with and they have fussed over many of the details of this home to get things just right. I have been so impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to quality which is definitely something you want when working with a contractor. If you're planning a renovation and you live in Utah, I highly recommend them. I'm already planning to use them for next renovation on my own home.
We're right in the middle of selecting all the furnishings for this gorgeous home but I couldn't wait to show you a few pictures (all photos by Miekel Reece):

Get excited. I'll be sharing more about the design plans for this home over the next few weeks.
It will be nothing short of spectacular. The fabrics and wallpaper alone will stop your heart.
You can also find more information about this renovation over on the Tiek Built Homes blog.

I can't wait to see what you come up with the space, Caitlin. This is a beautiful home indeed!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beuatiful home even without the furnishings! I know you will make it even more spectacular.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or do the doors in the pink room seem a little high off the floor?

What is the name of that Pink Color? Would be perfect in my daughters bedroom. Beautiful Home!
ReplyDeleteWow - I wish I didn't have to renovate now and could just move straight into this house - it's just what I'm hoping to achieve. Thanks for introducing us to the work of Steve Tiek as well.
ReplyDeleteTo me, a house isn't just about the furnishings, but the backdrop. And this home has a beautiful backdrop. We tried to do the same in our custom-built Craftsman bungalow. (Only not on as large as a budget as the one on your blog here!) My favorite things about our house are the trim and the doors, which are just like the ones you are showing here. Good choices! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou did a very good job!!
