Jeremy Ranch Project

In the spring I started working on a beautiful house in Jeremy Ranch which is an area near Park City, Utah. Anyone who is familiar with this area knows that there is a very specific look associated with Park City/ Jeremy Ranch/ Deer Valley. Park City is a ski town and many interiors you see in this area are very rustic and heavy.

The challenge with this project is that my client wanted her interior space to suit the house, which was very warm with lots of dark woods but she wanted it to have a sophisticated feeling to it as well.I had so much fun working on this project since each and every piece in the room was handpicked by me. Since we were playing into the rustic elements, we chose many items that had an old world feel to them. We used playful and earthy colors, woods with aged patinas, distressed leather, and juxtaposed these items against fabrics and other elements that incorporated a more youthful and fresh feeling.

I'll be sharing more of this project when in a few months when I have it photographed for my portfolio but I had to share a sneak peek.

  17. I covered a loveseat/chair with that Pottery Barn fabric (Simone) - you used a pillow in this decor for it. I am desperately looking for a large area rug (10x14) that would coordinate - any suggestions??
