This Saturday was dreamy. Gorgeous 60 degree fall weather. A Tartan plaid scarf. And a day of antiquing with one of my best friends.
Here's how it looked.
Bright blue skies and a full parking lot
A gorgeous barn wood table I was dying over.
Some sleepy lion book ends that I still regret not buying
A plethora of french feed sacks (I'll be posting more on these guys later)
Hat boxes galore
a yummy dining set. These chairs had the most beautiful patina
Lots of great rustic pieces
and this greeted me right when I walked in the door.
I had never attended this antique fair before and I didn't know what to expect.
I was delightfully surprised. I'll be sure to let you know when the next one rolls around in February.

Aaahhh! Just LOOK at all those grain sacks!
ReplyDeleteFinding treasures when antiquing is the best feeling, looks like you had a great time!
ReplyDeletedid you see the phone booth? ashley was dying for that table. instead she made out of a KILLER square ottoman. (still kind of sad about it)
ReplyDeleteWow...this looks great! I love the big wooden bowl in one of those pictures and the barn table, oh the barn table!
ReplyDeleteDo you think you can track down the vendor and buy the lion bookends? I hate being haunted like that.
Hi Catlin, I am so happy to find your inspiring blog! I was wondering if you went to this market/fair in SLC?
ReplyDeleteI'm late to this post, but am also wondering if this antique fair is in the SLC area? And maybe it's coming up soon since you mentioned that there will be another one in February?
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog and love your style!
I wish I could join the antique fair.
