Guess what?

I just got all the pictures back from the Spring Lane home I finished a few weeks back.
This home is a private residence in Salt Lake City, UT for a darling family of 6.
They really were the dream client that every designer hopes they get to work with!

The home is a classic New England style Cape Cod with lots of beautiful coastal details.

Here are a few little sneak peeks:

I'll be sharing this home room by room starting Tuesday with the living room.

If you have specific questions about sourcing then please wait to contact
me until I've feature the specific room you were wondering about.

Also, if you're interested in information about paint colors or
other architectural details, then head over to the website for Tiek Built homes.

  1. Caitlyn - First off, let me say that I absolutely love your style - preppy + elegant + fun all tastefully mixed together. Second, I was hoping you could tell me where you get your roman shades? The ones in the living of this home - are they fabric or bamboo? I'm deciding between fabric (Duralee 42030) and bamboo for my sunroom, and I can't find a light enough bamboo color.

    Thanks for your help!!

  20. The entire house looks gorgeous - however, I'm most interested in seeing the full nursery. We have a yellow crib too, and after seeing this picture I convinced my hubby that we need to paint our nursery (again) this color! So that's my plan for Labor Day :) Can't wait for the full reveal!

  21. Caitlin, I've been a daily visitor for awhile and love your work! You are truely talented and have great taste.
I make and design custom mobiles much like the one used in this nursery. I think we could be a perfect fit for future nurseries you design!

  22. Love the home! You have such a gift. I'm having a baby girl in November and was wondering where you purchased the fitted sheet and bumper back for the lavender nursery?

  24. Love this room! Would it be possible to get the name of the paint color used in the living room? I like how soft it looks and that it's not gray or beige. Thanks for any info you can give me.

  25. Lots of gorgeous stuff you have there! Looks really modern with the wall color and the furniture. WOW, from the window you can spot the park setting playground, sure is perfect for kids to enjoy the sun. Bet lots would want to be posted with the details of those rooms.

  29. Caitlin, I loooove this house...everything from the architecture to the decor. You did such a beautiful job. This makes me wonder for the 100th time why there isn't more Cape Cod style architecture in Utah (especially in Daybreak, where I am)! I love your restrained decor. It's perfect.
