Thank goodness for antibiotics!
All that down time laying in bed gave me plenty of time to catch up on my ZZZ's, blogs, and spend hours getting lost on pinterest (I know I'm not the only one completely obsessed, you can follow me here).
Lately I've become enamored with cozy little spots with built-in shelving. I live in a charming older home with all sorts of little idiosyncracies, and one of the things I love/hate most about my house is all the little nooks with funny little built-ins, storage, and spots for a romantic little vignette.
Here are a few of my favorite inspiration shots:

Now I'm off to go organize some of those little nooks myself!
I just am on first day back from a strep throat battle too...not too fun for us moms! I may have also fed my pinterest addiction... ; )
ReplyDeleteLove older homes with character! Feel better!!

Neat chair in the first pic! I love the pretty in pink atmostphere that hubs would never approve :).
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your nooks... try to embrace them - they're cute!
Uggghhhh! You poor things! Those nooks are fabulous. Feel better!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better! Those are some great images. Im loving the gray bookcase. I'm obsessed with pinning, too. I do it in line at the grocery store on my iPhone (there is an app), I do it in bed- everywhere. Crazy...
ReplyDeleteWell there really is something about small cozy spaces, dont' know what it is but I too am drawn to them..they are so inviting. Glad to hear you are on the mend, I suffer from strep throat myself so feel your pain but hallelujah for antibiotics!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!

ReplyDeleteI am glad you feel better. Love all your inspirational nook images especially the first one, the third one and the trellis wallpaper. Nooks are great and you get to rotate all your accessories from time to time. :)

The imperial trellis wallpaper in gray and white is so chic as a backer for a bookcase!
ReplyDeleteI know I am late commenting - just got back rom vacation, but I wanted to let you know that I got so much inspiration from this post! I especially love that bedroom - it's now in the inspiration files for our dream house - thanks so much!!!
ReplyDeleteAND - glad you are feeling better. I had never had strep before moving to Europe and I have had it several times here. It must be a different strain that I am not immune to and it's so rough! And you have a new baby - I remember that being so hard because they need Mom - hang in there!
