beach living

I'm headed to the beach in a few weeks on a family trip and all my
anticipation and planning has got beachy rooms on my mind.
Someday (in my dreams) I will have an airy and beautiful beach house with the
perfect pops of color. I imagine it in shades of seaglass, yellows, and coral reds.
It would have a rooftop deck with lots of space to lounge and plenty of cozy
places to curl up with a good book after a long day in the sun.
And of course it would have lots of little trinket collected at antique markets.

All we need is a simple kitchen with the basics

It would be bright and airy like Lulu Dk's gorgeous home and have
plenty of room for our family and friends for weekend stays.
and of course there would be plenty of room for
everyone to gather for games, or chats, or to watch a movie
and at the end of a long day, comfy beds with crisp bedding to crawl into.

Sounds like a dream, right?

Do you want to come with me?

  7. Everyone's doing the nautical look post and I LOVE it!! This is a really lovely round up; you went beachy in the warm, sunny, breezy kind of way, not the sand in my shoes and horse-fly bites on my arm kind of way :) Have fun at the beach! Here's my nautical post: http://myamericanhouse.wordpress.com/2011/06/25/nautical/
