Being home with the baby and Winston's toys strewn all around has made me long for a dedicated play space in our home where all the kid stuff can be corralled.
This makes me especially jealous of the beautiful new space that Alice Lane just completed for Nie Nie. I love how it feels polished, but still has a lot of personality. They've been posting about the design process for the space all week long so if you head over to their blog you can see the project start to finish.

What's your favorite part?
For me it's a toss up between that amazing table, and the checkerboard floors.

And, if I wasn't going to be snuggling my new baby tonight, I would definitely be hitting up this book signing party down at Alice Lane with the darling Nicole Hill. It's sure to be a fun event and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are actually serving rainbow cake.

Love this...so much personality!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious... do you really like all of it? I don't know what it is about Alica Lane but I don't always like their work. I know everyone in the blogosphere loves them, but I don't always see why, and I don't often see any critical analysis of their work. There are definitely good elements to the playroom, but would you have done it all that way?
ReplyDeleteI'm a little on the fence about this one...have a great weekend!! xx meenal
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to like about this??? It all just works together...their designs are apparently not for everyone...but the fun/eclectic vibe is so great in all their work...and I'm pretty sure I'm walking through my house trying to find a door to paint that color yellow...(c:
ReplyDeleteI definitely like the yellow door and the checked floor too. Great for a kids room. But I've got decidedly mixed feelings about the wallpaper. It just doesn't fit for me somehow. Go with either the yellow door or the wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteI love all the color in this room. Fun for the kids but also still tasteful. My favorite part would have to be the checkered floor and yellow door!
ReplyDeletequestion? Is there a name for that green print on the wall? I love it and for some reason cannot find the name of it. I love the clean lines and colors above.
ReplyDeleteI love the painted door, it brings so much character to the space!
ReplyDeleteI love the wallpaper! Nicolex
