My garage is a furniture graveyard.
There, I said it. It feels so good to be honest.
Mirrors, lamps, side tables. They all seem to call to me.
But my problem really lies with the chairs. Oh the chairs.
I imagine they come alive at night and talk to each other, telling their stories of past lives.
This chair happens to be my new obsession. Can you see why?
I'm thinking these chairs

with this fabric would be a close match.

What do you think?

Yup, stripes for spring, I don't think you could go wrong with that!
ReplyDeleteI die... Those chairs are awesome, and how can you go wrong with a crisp stripe? Bravo.
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love it!
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess it's hard to tell for us. How true is the color in the photo? If it's very close to the other-I say, go for it with gusto! Love the stripes.
ReplyDeleteCaitlin, I would love chairs like that in my apartment. Would they fit? I LOVE them.
ReplyDeleteGood for it. Love the stripe with the legs.
ReplyDelete*LOVE* the stripes...for whenever! Stripes are so classic...
ReplyDeleteyour garage and my garage should talk. my attic and second bedroom would like in on the conversation too. this is exactly why i'm learning to reupholster. and exactly why it's taking forever - too easily distracted by NEW projects!
ReplyDeleteI understand your obsession with chairs. They can have add so much personality to a room! I think the striped fabric would be gorgeous on those green chairs.
ReplyDeleteWOw how do you have time for anything! Between scowering the web for all sorts of items, working with clients and being a wife and mom?! Seriously?? It just makes me tired! (but I am glad you do it, that's for sure!) I LOVE those chairs. I think my navy couch would love them too! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love the chairs and the fabric!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrified I'm going to turn my home into a furniture graveyard! Only I don't have a garage to hide it in. I just brought home our 8th lamp the other day - our room has a whopping 5 rooms (and even that is stretching it), all with recessed lighting - lamps not necessary. I'm always scouring craigslist and ebay and going look if I buy this we could make it look like this! My husband doesn't understand it - I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does this.
yes! those stripes are delicious. if i had the space, i would be in big trouble too! xo
ReplyDeleteyes yes yes
ReplyDeleteDo it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then share ;)

Thumbs UP! Love it! I am big on the blues right now.
ReplyDeleteOh, love it! And I think I'd like it on the eBay chairs even more!
ReplyDeleteThank you thank you THANK YOU! I thought I was alone. I have about 6 'projects' in our garage and my husband thinks I'm nuts. Keep me away from Craig's List. I have been so busy with my retail website and two interior design clients that I have had no time for them. The weather has been dreadful as well. I'm inspired to take on more!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! I love chairs too but DH puts a stop to my craigslist shopping. We gotta fit both cars in the garage! I need a storage shed! LOL
ReplyDeleteperfect!
