the weekend's haul

Don't worry, I didn't forget to report on the antique fair. I headed up with two darling blog friends, Susan and Melissa,  and I met a client up there. There were lots of goodies to find there, but the real treasures were found at the thrift store we hit on the way home. 

Here are just a few of the lovelies that came home with me that day:
These lamps were purchased for $7.00 for the set. I don't think I can bear to part with them so they are staying at my house. They will be my homage to Christopher Spitzmiller.
I love vintage keys. I'm sure these will find a pretty home framed on a client's wall.
I snagged some pretty wooden trays and woven baskets for a client's home
My Kate Spade-ish cups and saucers. I love the crisp navy stripe. 
And my favorite item, a silver beehive sugar dish. Every time I stare at it, I smile.

    What wonderful finds. Good idea to keep the lamps and the navy stripe cups. Also love the idea of framing the old keys. Do you have any images of them framed. Also that sweet beehive sugar dish!

    I love everything you found! When you see porcelain lamps you should keep them for yourself and $7, wow. Anything that looks Kate Spade-ish is always a treasure.

    I just ordered similar lamps for my bedroom yesterday. They were NOT $7 for the pair, unfortunately! Jealous...

    Love it all, the beehive is adorable. Did you know that Kate Spade named her girl Bea? There is a great post with her apartment at Hibitually Chic today. Her place is gorgeous.

    The beehive dish is super rad!

    So, you know how I was trying to find some large, gaudy table lamp on Saturday? I found one. You'd be so proud, it's 4 feet tall and has sculptural angels on the bottom. Ok, maybe you'd be disgusted at how gaudy it is.

    You bought the beehive dish! Such a great find. That was a great trip, and I saw a lot of really fun ideas. I'd love to go again next year. Love the lamps! You have to do a post on where the end up in your house.
