These pint sized vintage children's thonet chairs on ebay stopped me dead in my tracks when I found them, and they've been haunting me ever since. I even had a dream the other night where I found a pile of vintage children's furniture and french toys in the gutter and I was scrambling to grab everything as fast as I could, especially my darling chairs. Anyone want to psychoanalyze that?

ReplyDeleteps that dream sounds like a dream come true, what I wouldn't do to find any kind of cool furniture in the gutter. In fact in Spring I drive around praying that someone has tossed some treasure on the street for the garbage man to pick up. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd my mom was notorious for digging through dumpsters in our chic neighborhood in Paris. I have inherited a cool rug and lamp from one of those dumpsters. :)
