It's my party + awesome giveaway

Today is my birthday. It was a busy day which is why I am posting at 11:30 p.m. 

It was a wonderful day full of yummy food (lunch at my favorite place, sushi for dinner, and gluten-free cupcakes lovingly made by my dear husband), a few hours at the dmv (renewal, ick), some fun gifts, and painting a piece of furniture that I am so giddy about the perfect shade of blue. Good day. 

I've been without internet for the last few days but I've got lots to share, including an awesome giveaway.
