New York

John Steinbeck said that once New york has become your home, no other place is good enough. And right now, that is sort of how I feel. This week marks the one year anniversary since we moved from our darling little apartment on the Upper East Side.  It's been a whole year. I can hardly believe it. I still miss New York every single day. It makes me sad to think that every day it becomes more a place where we used to live, inching into the past.

Anyway, I love you dear New York. Especially at Christmas.

  3. I've never lived in NY, but have visited many times. I can totally see why you'd feel that way...
I, too, get that same pain in my heart whenever I think about Chicago. Oh, I miss that city.

  6. I moved from NYC 2 years ago in Jan and I too miss the city SOOOOOO much. I lived there for 4 years. When I watch shows with NYC scenes I get this weird feeling in my chest. *sigh*

PS. I just discovered your blog through La Dolce Vita and I think it's great!
