Gorgeous pillows are always a good idea! I've been wanting to revamp my throw pillows in my living room, but am having a hard time finding reasonably priced, but still chic, pillows. Also, all these questions plague my mind. I have two (non-matching) sofas facing each other in my living room and I wonder how many pillows to have on each one and how they should all coordinate. I need a pillow strategy ;-) I'd love to see you write a post on that!
