I went and visited a client this morning to check in on updates. I just died when I saw how everything was coming together.
I literally oooooed and aaaaaahhhhd over this vintage green chair we got from the local classifieds. It is mid-century green velvet perfection and it fits perfectly in her modern house.
I'm glad that gorgeous chair found a good home.
I realized the way some people are about stray pets, I am about stray furniture. My poor husband.

Of course you know I like the green chair. Stray furniture is much better than stray animals...no need to feed the furniture. Although sometimes stray furniture costs more when you have to reupholster in a nice new fabric.

i'd fill my rooms with chairs. i found a gorgeous pair of magenta velvet chairs that i wanted for a nursery someday. somewhere.
you've started a used furniture obsession. and i have this fear that if i wait until i DO have my own house all the cute used items will be gone.
