City girl bedroom-before and after REVISED

SO from the pictures above you get a pretty good idea of what we had to work with. Simple spaces with wonderful high ceilings and good light. Hana, the lucky resident of this apartment is young girl with crisp, fresh style and she wanted a space that reflected that. 

We pulled together the following inspiration board and committed to a color palette of cool aqua and spicy dark orange with hints of chocolate and gold. And I must mention we did this totally on a strict budget. The additions to this room cost about $200 total. 

And here is where we ended up:

a little nod to Hana's North Carolina roots. I think Jonathan Adler would approve of the needlepoint look. It adds just the right kitsch.
