Don't paint it if it looks that good (coming from someone who paints EVERYTHING)! Yellow would pop. I found two pineapple lamps that look similar but with white bases and I left them that yellow color and I am so glad I did. You can always go back and change it up.
I would not paint it. The yellow lamp would look great in the room and seems to go well with the overal design. Love what you have done with the apartment!
I kinda like it the way it is. But if I was going to paint it I would go with that pink in the fabric on the bench- a nice hot/dark pink would be stunning!
Ooooo....lovin' it. Loving all the colors in this re-do. I crave color but never, ever put it in my house. So to remedy it, this weekend, I thought it would be a great idea to paint my front door Bijou Red. It's fiery hot!
There is someone locally who is selling a mint PAIR of these EXACT lamps for $15. I have nowhere for them, but I feel the need to find them a home! What to do?

What a great piece. What color are you thinking of painting it? I think is a great idea.

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of yellow, but the current yellow doesn't come across as very bright. Linds' idea of going shocking pink might be fun, too!
