I had a really great day today, but what really got me excited was finding this chevron fabric from one of my favorite inexpensive fabric sources via 6th Street Design School.
Lots of projects with this coming right up!
And look at all the pretty colors in comes in!

Chevron is my absolute FAV! Great find :)
ReplyDeleteoohhh thanks for sharing - love a good find!! KG
ReplyDeletethat IS exciting! I've been on the lookout for black and white chevron. thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteI've already placed my order for the blue!
ReplyDeleteI was SO excited to find that. For some reason I had never seen it on their website before. I can't wait to order some too.
ReplyDeleteNo Navy? Rats! Can't wait to see what you do with all of the fabulous other colors.
ReplyDeleteI love this too! Pretty blue!
ReplyDelete* Dear Caitlin, I'm THRILLED to "find" your blog just now (and did ALOT of back-reading... and will CONTINUE to do so later)!!! It's wonderful, lighthearted, full of great info, fun n' not "too lonnnnng", either! "PERFECTO for moi"!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thought you, of all people, would be "interested" in this lil' bit of "chevron info"~~~~~~ In TOTALLY redoing our MBR, from start to finish, I was only positive of just a FEW basic things I wanted "for sure" besides serenity, peace, calm & everything to focus on the view/s~ the ENTIRE fireplace wall "HAD" to be done in stone (Jim & I just LOVE the results!!!), & I KNEW I wanted an upholstered bed (it's fiiiinally "on its way to us~ due within the next 7 or 8 days~ yippee!).
Because of views to the pool, desert & city below (we have 21' of glass wall next to the stone wall), I wanted all verrry soft colors, non-competitive w/ all of that ~~~ soft creams, vanillas and a touch of soft greys & even taupes as my basics, w/ texture being very important.
This was "MY" special "PROJECT" & I KNEW what I wanted for thick, extra wide dummy panels, but could NOT find ANYTHING (& I looked for MONTHS!!! So much for Tucson living!)... ANYHOOOOOO, I fiiiinally found & INSTANTLY fell in love w/ a thicker, palest of cream on softest of white, smaller CHEVRON~~~~~ WHO KNEW??? The drapery folks did an absolutely fabulous job, & this "fabric color" actually MAKES the room!!!I can't explain it, but NOTHING else would have made everything ELSE so perfect!!! (I've always LIKED chevron but had never seen a basically cream on white, and it's just toooooooo rich... fabulous!
OOPS! Gotta start paying rent if I stay any longer~~~ I could go on & on but thankfully for you, I just realized how long this is getting, even after cutting out some writing... SORRY!!!!
REEEEALLY just W*A*N*T*E*D to say, "LOVE your blog" & to share the curtains/drapes experience w/ you!!!
Warmest blessings!
